In order to develop mouse models, it is necessary to know where the tumor originates. However, this is not currently well understood in bladder cancer, says Abate-Shen.

Researchers are working to understand the key alterations that contribute to bladder cancer tumors. Recent advancements in genomic analysis have given researchers more tools, and it is now understood that
